Day 5- Houhai and Nanluoguxiang
Houhai used to be an imperial lake for the entertainment of royal families and now become a wonderful place for young people.
In the morning, you can take a special bike to visit the scenic view here along the lake, or rent a boat to see on the lake.
Along the lake, there are a number of restaurants and stores selling interesting crafts. The last day can be your most relaxing and enjoying day. There are two restaurants I must go as I go back home, one is named Nanmen and the other one is Kaorouji. Both them are historical restaurants and were tested by several generations.
You always need to go before the meal time because they are really hot and popular.
Nanluoguxiang is a well-preserved ancient part of the town in Beijing, with traditional architecture, the street area also known as hutong. Actually, you can visit here in the morning and try some snacks here, and then head to Houhai and have dinner there. For in the evening, Houhai will be more beautiful and worth to see.
